In the winter of 1978, Mr. Xie Tieqiao with his brothers founded the North Zhang Zhuang Mould Factory to producing hard alloy drawing mould in Hejian City, Hebei Province.
From 1979 to 1985, the company operated well and developed rapidly, with over 40 employees and a production value exceeding three million.
In 1986, Factory Director Xie Tieqiao was elected as an outstanding Communist Party member of Hebei Province and attended the Provincial July 1st Commendation Conference.
In 1987, factory director Xie Tieqiao participated in the 1/850 drawing national level appraisal meeting in Tianjin and was elected as the Excellent Party Branch Secretary of Hebei Province.
In 1988, he contracted the drawing mould workshop of Tianjin Second Prestressing Steel Wire Factory and established Tianjin Zhenhua Mould Factory, successfully developing linear high-speed drawing mould.
In 1989, he contracted the mould workshop of Tianjin Prestressed Steel Wire Factory, developing spiral deformation technology and spiral drawing mould.
In 1990, he contracted the drawing mould workshop of Tianjin Metal Experimental Products Factory, with more than 60 employees and a production value of over six million. It became the largest wire drawing mould manufacturer and a major producer of prestressed steel drawing mould in China.
In 1991, we successfully developed spiral prestressed steel bar, wire rod for prestressed steel bar, and production equipment for prestressed steel bar.
In 1992, Hebei Hejian Prefabricated Steel Wire Company was jointly established with Tianjin Metal Experimental Products Factory and Hejian Municipal Government. The first generation of domestically produced PC bar production line was successfully put into operation and participated in the research and development of wire rod for prestressed steel with AISC and TISC.
In 1993, the first prestressed steel wire spiral drawing mold and the first PC spiral rib wire were successfully trial produced.
In 1994, Tianjin Prestressing Steel Wire Factory Tianhe Company was established with Tianjin Prestressing Steel Wire Factory.
In 1995, the ordinary relaxation PC spiral rib wire passed the national appraisal, drafted the GB/T5223-1995 standard modification form, and was officially supplied to the market.
In 1996, PC spiral rib wire was officially included in the national standard GB/T5223-1995 and included in the standard atlas of prestressed concrete components such as sleepers and poles, and was first exported to Bangladesh.
In 1997, the low relaxation PC spiral rib wire was successfully developed and officially applied in large quantities in railway sleepers, wire poles, large roof slab, and double T-board.
In 1998, Silvery Dragon Prestressed Materials Company Limited Tianjin was established in Beichen District and successfully developed 77B high-carbon wire rod with Shagang steel.
In 1999, PC spiral rib wire for railway sleepers was successfully developed and can be use in -40℃ low-temperature permafrost zones.
In 2000, the new production base of Silvery Dragon was put into operation at a factory located in Beichen Development Zone, Tianjin, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons.
In 2001, the PC wire for PCCP pipelines was successfully developed and the national standard GB/T5223-2002 was drafted.
In 2002, PC strand production project was launched, mainly leading on the formulation of quality and technical standards for export type PC strand.
In 2003, successfully developed 9.0mm and 10.0mm large-diameter PC spiral rib wire, established the second production base of Silvery Dragon, and formed a production capacity of 150,000 tons. The PC strands were exported to the United States.
In 2004, successfully developed 9.5mm large-diameter PC spiral rib wire and long-term anti-corrosion products for the European rail system, and exported PC bar to Vietnam.
In 2005, the pre-stressed steel industry was integrated, the Beichen Shuangyuan headquarters production base was built, and the Silvery Dragon Group was formed, forming an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons.
In 2006, successfully developed large-diameter PC wire for II Type high-speed track slab and 3 wires PC indented strands for low-noise rail sleepers in Japanese subways.
In 2007, successfully developed unbonded PC bar for I Type high-speed track slab and thread rolling technology, and successfully developed scored PC indented wire for the US & Australia track system.
In 2008, successfully developed the tensioning and anchoring system for I Type prestressed concrete high-speed track slab.
In 2009, successfully developed the tensioning system of III Type longitudinal high-speed railway track slab. 10mm PC spiral rib wire for II Type high-speed railway track slab was fully promoted and applied in China high-speed railway. Large diameter steel wire cut to length was promoted and exported to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and other countries and at the same time, we introduced high-end talents and began to prepare for enterprise shareholding reform.
In 2010, Silvery Dragon Prestressed Materials Co., Ltd. Tianjin, Hejian Branch was established. The instant cutting and repair cutting test of PC bars for I Type sleepers was successful, accelerating the pace of China Railway Construction to the world. The Yuqiao trademark was authorized as a nationally renowned trademark, and sold 258,000 tons in both domestic and foreign markets throughout the year.
In 2011, sales of 272,000 tons were achieved both domestically and internationally. In the context of anti-dumping measures in Europe and America, the company expanded into emerging markets and exported 103,000 tons. The successful shareholding restructuring of the enterprise, introduction of investment institutions, comprehensive updating of production equipment, improvement of equipment level, and achievement of an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons.
In 2012, Hejian Baozelong Metal Materials Co., Ltd. was established, Silvery Dragon Co., Ltd and Silvery Dragon Track jointly participated in the major research project of the former Ministry of Railways on the experimental research of the pretensioned prestressed system ballastless track structure system (2012G005-A) and undertook the research and development of track slab. Silvery Dragon Track Co., Ltd Hejian was established, and was designated as the experimental base for pretensioned prestressed concrete track slab by the former Ministry of Railways, including the Science and Education Department and the Engineering Management Center.
In 2013, Silvery Dragon Prestressed Materials Co., Ltd. Benxi was established and has been supplying more than 300,000 tons of PC wire for PCCP pipelines to the Northwest Liaoning Water Conservancy Project for three consecutive years since 2013. On June 26th, the China Railway Corporation organized a technical seminar on CRTS-III type pretensioned concrete track slab at Silvery Dragon Track, which fully affirmed the previous experimental results.
In 2014, the Engineering Management Center of China Railway Corporation held an on-site meeting for the production of CRTS-III pretensioned track slab for the Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-speed Railway at Silvery Dragon Duanyuan Track Slab Yard and fully affirmed the achievements of Duanyuan Track Slab Yard.
In 2015, Silvery Dragon Co., Ltd. was successfully listed on the A-share market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on February 27th, and Xinjiang Silvery Dragon Prestressed Materials Co., Ltd. was established. The Silvery Dragon Track Co., Ltd. Jianping Track Slab Yard was successfully put into operation.
In 2016, the CRSD-2025 automated track slab production line was successfully developed and passed the process review organized by the Industrial Management Center of China Railway Corporation. The Shang Tie Wuhu Track Slab Yard which has Silvery Dragon Co., Ltd. Shares was successfully put into operation.
In 2017, the Silvery Dragon Track Huaiyang Track Slab Yard was successfully put into operation. On August 22nd, the Industrial Management Center of China Railway Corporation held an on-site meeting for the production of CRTSIII type track slab flow unit method at the Silvery Dragon Track Huaiyang Track Slab Yard.
In 2018, Silvery Dragon Track Hejian Track Slab Yard and Baodi Track Slab Yard were successfully put into operation, Ganzhou Track Slab Yard and Xinxiang Track Slab Yard began construction, and Huaiyang Track Slab Yard has completed the prefabrication production task of Zhengzhou-Fuyang and Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou high-speed railway track slabs.
In 2020, Silvery Dragon expanded the strategic alliance for the development of the rail industry, jointly committed to promoting innovation and development of the rail industry through resource sharing, collaborative research and development, experience exchange, and market expansion, and make positive contributions to technological progress, economic prosperity, and sustainable development in the field of rail transit.
In 2021, expand the field of concrete products for urban rail transit.
In 2022, Silvery Dragon expanded the new energy industry and expanded the production capacity of the prestressed industry.
In 2023, Yangjiang Sleeper Factory was officially put into operation, and multiple projects for track slabs began, achieving breakthroughs in the field of new energy.
